City Seeks Passionate Art Lovers for Commission Appointment

Do you have a passion for art? Do you want to be involved in your community? If so, you may want to apply to serve on the City of Federal Way Arts Commission!

The Arts Commission is an advisory board to the City Council on matters relating to fine, cultural and performing arts. With the support of city staff, the Commission works to further public awareness and interest in art and the cultural heritage of the City. To the extent practicable, appointments to the Arts Commission shall reflect a balance of interests in fine and performing arts, and preservation of cultural heritage.

The commission is comprised of nine-members who are appointed by the City Council. Members serve three-year terms without compensation and must be a resident of Federal Way.
