FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 8, 2007

Take City’s performance/cultural arts center survey by Nov. 15
The City of Federal Way is conducting an online survey about the feasibility of a new performance/cultural arts center. The short, 15-question survey should take only a few minutes to complete. The deadline is midnight on Nov. 15.

The survey can be found at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=K6CpsgGRaMG3sIr25SAVxg_3d_3d

The survey is part of a larger effort by Chicago-based Johnson Consulting firm to look at the feasibility of building and operating a performance/cultural arts center in Federal Way. The $80,000 feasibility study also will analyze the future viability of the Cityoperated Dumas Bay Centre and Knutzen Family Theatre—with and without a standalone performance/cultural arts center in Federal Way—as well as provide business and
operations plans for the facilities.

For more information about the online survey or about how to get involved, contact Scott Pingel, City Manager’s Office, 253.835.2403, scott.pingel@cityoffederalway.com.
